Each piece is made by collecting discarded bottles and jars from roadsides, trails or any other place that people leave trash. Using many of the same techniques used in traditional pottery, and then adding broken pieces of recycled glass for the kiln to melt, is the essence of the recycled glass infused pottery process. The unique shapes and positioning of each fragment ensures each piece to have a sparkle and depth that is truly unique.
Reduce, reuse, recycle when at all possible is a mission of Paloma Pottery throughout all business and creative processes; from collecting recycled material for packaging to using found objects to create shapes and texture. Each piece is created to be a functional piece of art with versatility. The crackle glass surface created is smooth to touch and sparkles with profoundrich colors and textures.
